The Environment Agency in the UK has opened up its 3D maps of the country for free use by individuals and businesses. See the announcement on the Environment Agency blog.
Whomever is working on that jetpack can now add 3D GPS capability. Or perhaps drone deliveries that can go to the right floor. Or accurate information for the emergency services on callout. Who knows. But business opportunities for the creatively minded abound!
